Bryant Receives Honorary Life Membership
During the 139th conference of the Mid-Atlantic Newspaper Advertising and Marketing Executives association held in Charlotte, NC at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Thomas M. Bryant received the Honorary Life Membership. The organization’s highest honor has only been awarded fifty one times since it’s formation in January 1939. The Honorary Life Membership is presented to those members who have dedicated themselves to the newspaper industry and the association. Tom served in all capacities, serving as President in 2005-2006, his leadership and guidance set an example for all to follow.
Tom joined Mid-Atlantic N.A.M.E. in 1971 as Advertising Director of the Burlington (NC) Times-News after graduating from Elon College. He remained in print advertising throughout his career and retired in 2007 as Advertising Director of The Pilot in Southern Pines, NC.
On hand to witness and enjoy the occasion with Tom were his wife, Linda, and son, Tom Jr. David Woronoff, The Pilot’s publisher, participated in the presentation.
